Abidal continues recovery on the field

Piqué, who missed the last session, trained normally today, as did Adriano and Alves, who are recovering from their respective fitness problems
The first team trained early this evening at the Ciutat Esportiva in preparation for Sunday’s Liga game with Espanyol. Jordi Roura took the session, which featured Gerard Piqué, who was given special permission to miss training on Thursday. Alves and Adriano, who are both not yet fully fit, were able to train normally.
Meanwhile, Éric Abidal is continuing to work on recovery from his left soleus injury and made an appearance on the field today. As for the other injured players, Carles Puyol continued with his recuperation schedule and Leo Messi did physiotherapy.
Both of the first team goalkeepers, Víctor Valdés and José Manuel Pinto, were joined today by their colleague from Barça B, Jordi Masip.
